What counts as a dental emergency?
Severe pain, swelling, a knocked-out or broken tooth, uncontrolled bleeding, or a lost crown/filling that's causing pain all qualify — when in doubt, call us and we'll help you decide.
Can you see me today?
We hold same-day slots for emergencies. Call as early as possible and we'll do everything we can to fit you in, even without an existing appointment.
I knocked out a tooth — what do I do right now?
Handle it by the crown (not the root), rinse gently if dirty, try to reinsert it or keep it in milk, and call us immediately — the first 30-60 minutes matter most for saving the tooth.
What if my dental emergency happens outside office hours?
Call our office line — the outgoing message includes guidance for urgent situations, and we'll get you seen as soon as we're able to open the schedule.
Will emergency treatment cost more than a regular visit?
Emergency visits are billed based on what's actually needed, same as any appointment — we'll always explain cost before starting treatment, even under urgent circumstances.
Do I need antibiotics for a dental infection?
Sometimes — it depends on the type and extent of the infection. Dr. Arvilli will evaluate you in person before deciding whether antibiotics, drainage, or another treatment is the right call.
